Galleri Oyggin ligger i Tvøroyri på Færøernes sydligste ø, Suðuroy. For at komme til Suðuroy kan man enten tage færgen Smyril fra Tórshavn og nyde turen på to timer med Færøernes største færge, som har plads til knap 1000 passagerer .

Der er skiftende udstillinger i galleriet samt udstillinger med Palle Julsgarts egne værker.

Udenfor galleriet er der mange forskellige skulpturer rundt omkring i haven samt på pladsen ovenfor galleriet. En af skulpturerne som kaldes Frælsi (Frihed) er lavet af søjlebasalt fra Suðuroy, på toppen står to fugle af metal. Øen har en meget speciel geografi, her kan man se hvordan vulkanudbrud gang på gang har skabt øerne. Søjlebasaltet kan betragtes i bygden Froðba, som ligger et par kilometer længere mod øst, langs samme fjord som Tvøroyri. Lagene af basalt kan f.eks. betragtes på den vestlige kyst Á Røðini, som ligger i bunden af Trongisvágur, her ses basalten som en lagkage. Hvannhagi nord for Tvøroyri er et yndet udflugtssted.

I galleriets have er der også et orangeri, hvor Palle har fået forskellige eksotiske palmer til at vokse. Der er også akvarium med fisk.

Gallery Oyggin is in Tvøroyri which is on the southernmost island in the Faroe Islands, called Suduroy. to come to Suduroy, you have to take the ferry “Smyril” from Torshavn. From there you just enjoy the two hour long ferry ride, on the biggest ferry in the country, which has the capacity to take approximately 1000 passengers and 200 cars.

Inside the galley there is also a café, you are more than welcome to call ahead of time and make a reservation, and order a light meal for instance a prawn sandwich.

There are ever changing exhibitions in the gallery, alongside Palle Julsgart´s own paintings and creations. The gallery has also had the prestigious visit of the Queen of Denmark Margaret the 2nd in 2005.

Outside the gallery in the garden area, there is a large array of sculptures in various shapes and sizes. One of the sculptures which is called “Frælsi” (Freedom) is made out of basalt columns that are found all over Suduroy, on top of the column there are two birds made out of metal.
The island has a very special geography, you can see how the volcanic eruptions have shaped the islands into what they are today. the column basalt can be found in various places on the island, but there are a few places where you can admire them for yourself. such as in Frodba which lies further east alongside the fjord in Tvøroyri.

in the gallery garden there is also a greenhouse, which has a variety of exotic plants and trees and aquariums with fish.
